The Filipino American Historical Society of Chicago

T
he Filipino American Historical Society of Chicago is a cultural institution whose mission is to collect, record and preserve artifacts and documents of history of the Filipino Americans of metropolitan Chicago; and to educate about Filipino American history and Philippine heritage.

MISSION STATEMENT
• To record the Filipino American history of Greater Chicago area
• To preserve selected artifacts and documents of that history
• To provide exhibits, “Just Yesterday” and “Kindred Spirit-Waves Apart”, history of Greater Chicagos Filipino Americans
• To promote public interest in Filipino American History
• To educate and involve individuals and groups in an appreciation and understanding of the Philippine heritage of Filipino Americans
• To establish the Filipino American Historical Society of Chicago Museum
